3rd Symposium on HR Work in Companies

29.09.2023 -

Trust as an Organizational Resource

Trust binds, trust obliges, trust creates security. Trust is an organizational resource that needs neither control instruments nor management systems. Nevertheless, trust as a resource in cooperation must be recognized, built up and maintained so that self-organization, commitment and innovative spirit can grow and carry companies through turbulent times.

The 3rd symposium for personnel work at the Chair of Business Education deals with questions of how trust in organizations can be established as a value principle. Anmeldung_SymposiumHow is it possible to build trust between managers and employees? How do I recognize that trust is waning or growing? How can personnel development help to strengthen trust as a resource? We want to bring scientific positions and practical experience together, ask questions and look for answers.

The Chair of Business Education at the OVGU is looking forward to an exciting event! If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Nathalie Weisenburger (nathalie.wiesenburger@ovgu.de). You can register using the QR code or this Link.

Netzworking Evening: Projects and Cultural Diversity

28.09.2023 -

How can project management promote (inter)cultural encounters?

The networking evening gives the graduation of this year's graduates a festive setting.

Encounters between different cultures initially make us feel strange, irritated and insecure. If we let ourselves in, new spaces of experience open up, trust and new ideas develop. The awareness of our own in the mirror of other cultures and the creation of a common understanding are the focus of this year's network evening. Concrete project examples bring to life how these encounters can be initiated and supported. In an interview, we examine how companies can organize encounters in order to meet the demands of diversity and cultural diversity. Furthermore, we want to consider how project management can strategically support mutual learning in organizations and institutions. Because a reflected understanding of culture creates an innovative work setting and offers a variety of development potential.

Time: 6 p.m. to 10 p.mAnmeldung Netzwerkabend 23_QR Code
Location: OVGU Magdeburg | lecture hall 6
Address: Zschokkestraße 32 | 39104 Magdeburg
